Anglo-Dutch food and consumer products giant Unilever has announced the appointment of Jeffery Allgrove as president and chief executive officer of Unilever Canada, effective 1 October.

Allgrove succeeds Kevin Boyce, who in June was appointed president and chief executive officer of Unilever Cosmetics International.
Allgrove will be responsible for the company’s Canadian foods and home and personal care businesses headquartered in Toronto, reporting to John W. Rice, president and chief executive officer Unilever Bestfoods North America.
Allgrove, who has worked for Unilever for 26 years, was most recently controller of London-based Unilever.
