According to local reports, sources at the mall stated that the supermarket is due to open for business in the second half of this year. The store will have a floor space of 28,000 square metres and will be allotted 1,300 parking spaces.
Although the shop is the first of its kind for the French company in Hainan, it will be Carrefour’s 70th Chinese outlet.
