CHINA: China demands clarification on Hungarian import ban
Chinese authorities are stepping up efforts to overturn the Hungarian ban on imports of Chinese food and animal-based animal feed. The ban was imposed after the European Union, of which Hungary is not yet a Member State, restricted Chinese food products as it claimed some foodstuffs from China contained the prohibited antibiotic chloramphenicol.
