China Food Co. has appointed Ricky Mak King Pui chief financial officer in a move the London-listed group said would “further strengthen” the management of the company.

Mak King Pui comes to China Food with “significant international experience in working with listed companies”, the sauces manufacturer said today (1 August).

A spokesperson for the company told just-food Mak King Pui’s most recent post was CFO with energy firm Qiying Holding Company Limited. 

“This appointment… marks an important step in enhancing the skills of the board and management team,” chairman John McLean said. 

Mak King Pui replaces Tang Lin in the role.
