China’s largest milk producer China Mengniu Dairy reported today (Wednesday) that its net profits had risen by 94% in 2004, according to the news agency Dow Jones.

Net profit for the year ended 31 December was 319.4m yuan (US$38.59) compared with 164.4m yuan in 2003. Revenue rose to 7.21bn yuan from 4.07 bn.
