Valio said it is only the third foreign company in China to be allowed to use the label, which signifies product safety and environmentally sound production methods.


The whole manufacturing process has to meet the regulations set for safe and environmentally sound production in order for a company to receive the Green Food label. In the dairy industry this means that the entire chain extending from farm to final product undergoes inspection.
