CHINA: Shanghai Bright Dairy & Food to invest in dairy farm
Chinese dairy firm Shanghai Bright Dairy & Food Co is to invest CNY150m (US$18.1m) to build the country's “largest and most sophisticated” dairy farm, according to local district government.
Chinese dairy firm Shanghai Bright Dairy & Food Co is to invest CNY150m (US$18.1m) to build the country’s “largest and most sophisticated” dairy farm, according to local district government.
Construction is to start soon on the project, which will have a farming capacity of 5,000 cows and will be situated in the Jinshan district of Shanghai. When completed, the farm will be able to produce 100 tons of fresh milk per day.
