Zhonpin has said that production has resumed at its meat processing facility in Deyang, Sichuan, following last month’s devastating earthquake.

The Chinese meat processor said that production at the plant was back up to 80% of its pre-earthquake levels. The company added that it expects normal production to resume by the end of the month.

While production at Deyang was suspended Zhongpin met supply obligations through its production facility in Zhumadian, Henan.
