Chobani has announced it is expanding its portfolio in Australia with the launch of a range of “high protein” dips.
The Chobani Meze Dips contain 14-15g of protein per 150g serve and will be 97% fat free. The range features four variants: Chobani Salsa Rojo Meze Dip, Chobani Roasted Red Pepper Meze Dip, Chobani Herbed Tzatziki Meze Dip and Chobani Chilli Lime Ranch Meze Dip.
“The lack of guilt-free, great-tasting dips means it’s something our fans were inclined to consume very occasionally,” said Peter Meek, MD at Chobani’s Australia arm. “We know that protein is important to these people. So we designed a range of Chobani Mezé Dips that are delicious and packed with protein. A no compromise option that not only allows people to consume dips more often, but gives them a reason to actively do so.”
Chobani Meze Dips are made using strained Chobani yoghurt.
“We use three cups of milk to make one cup of Chobani yoghurt. However, to create the perfect base for our dips, we took this one step further; straining four cups of milk to make one cup of yoghurt for our Chobani Meze Dips,” Meek said. “The result is a range of deliciously thick dips that will not only hold up on your scoop of choice, but are so packed with protein they work as an accompaniment for sandwiches and wraps, or as a dressing for pastas and salads.”
The dips are available nationally at an RRP of A$3.99 (US$2.87).
