US firm Clemens Food Group plans to open a new pork processing plant in Coldwater Township, Michigan, in a move expected to see a total investment of around US$255.7m.
US firm Clemens Food Group plans to open a new pork processing plant in Coldwater Township, Michigan, in a move expected to see a total investment of around US$255.7m.
When operational the facility will employ 810 people and manufacture value-added pork products.
“Today’s announcement marks a major milestone in the history of our company and the future of pork production in the state of Michigan,” Doug Clemens, CEO of Clemens Food Group, said yesterday (16 December).
