Almacenes Exito, Colombia’s largest retailer, has posted first-half net profits of COP27.3bn (US$13.8m), down 39% from COP45.1bn in the comparable period of last year.
Operating revenue dropped to COP3.31trn, down from COP3.39trn, the company said in a filing to the country’s securities regulator.
Exito is controlled by French retailer Casino.
Exito operates stores in Colombia under the Exito, Ley, Pomona, Carulla and Vivero brands.
