Cypriot dairy firm Charalambides Dairies has posted a €3.1m (US$3m) profit for 2001, on top of a turnover of €29.3m.

The company also revealed that Greek Delta Dairy, a subsidiary of Delta group, has bought a 61% stake in its operations.


According to local newspaper Chrimatistiriaki, Charalambides Dairies controls a 55% stake in the Cypriot fresh milk market and 70% of the country’s market for chocolate milk.
