The Czech anti-trust body said the relatively low market share of the two dairies meant there would be “no substantial distortion of competition”.


Bel struck a deal over the two dairies in April. The company agreed to buy 100% of J + R and a 71.5% stake in Jaromericka from private Czech investor Zdenek Palat and his family.


Bel has acquired two manufacturing facilities situated close to the unit it already owns in the southern part of the country.
