Dutch company Nutricia may buy a majority of the Prague dairy producer Pragolaktos. Nutricia already owns a dairy works in Opocno but is looking to expand its interests in the region. Oldrich Bohac of Pragolaktos said prospective buyers appeared last year when the company’s situation became stabilized. A previous deal with Italian firm Parmalat over the firm was not concluded.
