Retail chain Zabka, owned by Slovak financial group Penta, will close approximately 10 under performing stores in the Czech Republic.
Almost all of the outlets slated for closure are its larger supermarket format, company spokesperson Jana Muzná told just-food, who added that it will grow the number of smaller outlets will grow.

After two years in the country, Zabka currently operates over 100 convenience store outlets. In February it acquired Koruna which operates another 50 larger and more profitable outlets in Moravia, the eastern part of the Czech Republic.
