French food group Delpeyrat, part of the agri-food co-op Maisadour, is in discussions to sell its ready meals arm to local charcuterie business Tallec.
A spokesperson for Delpeyrat confirmed the talks were taking place but declined to comment further.

Tallec would not comment when contacted by just-food.
Delpeyrat’s portfolio also includes foie gras and smoked salmon. It moved into smoked salmon in 2012. The company boosted its presence in salmon and seafood in 2013 with the acquisition of local seafood companies Viviers de France and Viviers Marins from Norwegian group Havfisk.
