‘We will be discussing whether – and how – we can enter China,’ Arla managing director Peder Tuborgh told the paper.

Tuborgh said that although consumption of dairy products per capita is not very large in China, it is still an interesting market because of its many inhabitants and strong economic growth.

The management of Arla Foods is expected to hand over a draft proposal to the group’s board in October.
