Beauvis will assume responsibility for the distribution and marketing of Cloetta’s products in the market, which currently accounts for 3% of total sales.

A spokesperson for the company told just-food that the new distribution agreement is expected to result in higher sales in the market, as the company gains new listings and routes to market.

“Cloetta has enormous potential to grow in Denmark and will do so in cooperation with our new distributor Beauvais,” Cloetta MD Curt Petri said.

“With our in-depth knowledge of Danish consumers and leading position in the Danish daily commodities trade, Beauvais can contribute to strengthening Cloetta’s position in the Danish market. At the same time, Cloetta’s brands, together with our own portfolio of strong brands, will further enhance our status as a leading player in the Danish daily commodities trade,” Peter Andersson, managing director of Beauvais, said.
