Ardovries has announced that they do not wish to keep the production site in Svendborg in operation and therefore negotiations concerning the future of the production site will immediately be initiated with the employees in Svendborg.

If the vegetable activities are sold to Ardovries, Danisco Foods will still include the following business areas, which are set to be divested in separate parts: frozen bakery, frozen potatoes, condiments, including fried onions and marmalade.

The prospective sale will affect 750 of Danisco Foods’ 1,600 employees in and outside Denmark.
