Empire Bespoke Foods has announced it is launching a virgin olive oil under the Tabasco brand in the UK.

The products are produced using late-harvest Arbequina olives from Catalonia and is infused with Tabasco’s red pepper seeds.
The range features a 125ml format and a 250ml format priced at GBP2.89 (US$4.36) and GBP4.49 respectively. There is also a 200ml spray format available at GBP5.49.
The products are available in independent stores. A spokesperson for the company told just-food there are no listings yet in the UK’s supermarket chains.
“However Empire Bespoke Foods is talking to major supermarkets about stocking the products as soon as possible but obviously can’t announce anything until it is confirmed and in the stores,” he added.
