Kalev Magi, a trustee of Baltic Food Estonia (BFE), has revealed that creditors of the company have filed a total of 157 claims totalling 158m kroons (US$8.9m).

Magi told the Baltic News Service that it is still difficult to assess the assets of the company, owner of the Spar convenience chain, as its real estate is still unsold.
BFE was declared bankrupt by the lower-level Tallinn City Court on 24 January. Its biggest creditor is the ABC Group, which has acquired a claim of 40.5m kroons from Hansapank.
Of suppliers, the largest creditors are the AS Kalev confectionery firm and magazine trader Lehepunkt.
