The ‘Food for Life technology platform’ will be supervised by the (European) Confederation of the Food and Drink Industries, and will attempt to unite food industry specialists from both the public and private sectors. A detailed work plan has been drafted, which includes tasks such as writing a strategic research plan for the sector, identifying possible sources of financial support, organising international discussion meetings and coordinating research projects.
