The first Express store in Hungary opened for trading last week in Szeged, south of Budapest, while the new Czech store in Prague.
Tesco is in the process of launching in the US with a small-store format developed along the lines of the Tesco Express concept, which will trade as Fresh & Easy. The first US stores are scheduled to open before the end of the year.
