Chips, which is the Nordic and Baltic region’s largest crisp and snack maker with sales of €269m (US$318m) last year, said Parrots generated 2002 turnover of €13m.
“Parrots is the market leader in Sweden and Finland in the field of natural products based on nuts and dried fruits. The range…is closely related to the traditional crisp and snack products, and thus fits naturally into the Chips group’s business,” Chips was quoted by Reuters as saying.
