Finnish grocery retailer Spar Finland has posted net sales for the January to May 2003 period of €228.7m (US$268.5m), a drop of 7.1% compared to the previous year.
The retailer’s net sales for the month of May were €46.4m, a year-on-year decrease of 14.1%.
Comparable net sales for Spar Finland-owned outlets were down 11.1% year-on-year in May 2003 and 7.6% down on last year for the five-month January to May period.
