MamaMancini's posts Q1 net loss
US frozen and refrigerated all-natural foods maker MamaMancini's has posted a higher loss for the first quarter of 2015 than the year before on the back of greater expenses.
The firm reported a loss of US$1.09m compared with $700,800 a year earlier due to an increase in non operating expenses. Operating expenses increased to $1.8m compared to $1.5m year-on-year.
Sales grew 30% to US$3.3m which MamaMancini's said was due to "execution of its expansion strategy" and selling into more locations.

US packaged fruit and veg firm Seneca Foods has reported annual lower sales and net profits.
Net profit of US$9.9m compared with $13.8m for the year ended 31 March was reported as a result of lower sales volumes. Operating income decreased to $19.1m from $23.6m.
Sales also fell to $1.28bn from $1.34bn for the same period a year earlier.
