French pastry and bakery group Brossard has recorded a 20% surge in first-half sales to EUR76m (US$113m) thanks to a buoyant second quarter.
Brossard generated some EUR47m – a jump of 27% in sales – during the second quarter to 31 December.
The rise in turnover was seen across the group’s range of pastry and dough products, many of which are supplied frozen, as well as ambient biscuits.
Brossard, which operates from four sites across France, will publish its first-half profit numbers on 14 March.
