The partnership agreement was reached on their joint venture supermarket and hypermarket operations.

Carrefour said it sees the two groups “reaffirm their commitment to pursue their joint development and to end all past disagreements”.

Previously, a dispute over Carrefour’s back-end margins had landed Carrefour and Coop Atlantique in court.

When contacted by just-food, Carrefour declined to comment further on the news or elaborate on its troubled relationship with Coop Atlantique.
