Danone has resumed deliveries of yogurts and milk desserts to Système U after a court in Paris ruled on the French food giant’s dispute with the local retailer.
Earlier this month, Danone cancelled deliveries to the French retailer’s distribution centres because of a long-running dispute over their commercial dealings.

“The court found that Danone’s action was not justified and deliveries to Système U resumed very quickly after an absence of several days only,” a spokesman for Système U told just-food today.
“However, there is still disageement over certain points of our commercial relationship Finding a solution will be the object of further talks. It’s in our mutual interest to find common ground.”
No-one was immediately available to comment at Danone.
