Faujour, who replaces Lucien Fa, has worked for General Mills for two years. He joined from Danone to lead the US food giant’s business in France, Italy and the Benelux region. Last year, he also took on responsibility for the company’s arm in Spain and Portugal.
In his new job, Faujour will be in charge of Yoplait outside the US, where General Mills runs the business. Before General Mills acquired a 51% stake in Yoplait last year, it had held the US licence since 1977.
