French poultry firm Groupe Doux announced today (4 May) that it returned to profitability in fiscal 2009.

The company booked a net profit of EUR12m during the year against a net loss for 2008. EBITDA rose 12% to EUR104m, up from EUR91.8m in fiscal 2008.
