French grocery retailer Guyenne et Gascogne has reported first-half net profit of €17.1m (US$19.6m), compared to €9.3m a year earlier.
The company, which franchises Champion and Carrefour stores, also reported a rise in operating profit to €20.46m from €19.3m a year earlier.
Guyenne et Gascogne’s first-half sales rose to €563.5m from €554.8m a year earlier.
The company backed its target of double-digit consolidated net income growth for the full year, reported Reuters.
