Nestle has recalled a batch of its Guigoz 1 infant formula in France. 

The company said traces of metal dust coming from the packaging were found in one batch of the product sold in France. It said the product does not pose a safety risk to consumers but does not meet its quality standards.

The affected 900g cans of Guigoz 1 infant formula have a batch number 1165080622 and an expiry date of 12/2012. No other products are affected. 

Nestle has apologised to consumers for any inconvenience over the withdrawal of this product.
