FRANCE: Omya plant is first in France with ISO 22000 certification
Omya, which provides natural calcium carbonate to agriculture and the food industry, has announced that it is the first company in France to receive of an ISO 22000 certificate for food safety management systems.
Omya, which provides natural calcium carbonate to agriculture and the food industry, has announced that it is the first company in France to receive of an ISO 22000 certificate for food safety management systems.
Certification was granted to its Orgon plant (Bouches-du-Rhône) on 29 September, adding to the company’s existing strong credentials for quality (ISO 9001) and environmental management (ISO 14001), it said.
Its Calcipur range is used in a variety of applications that include chewing gum, cereals, dairy food and biscuits.
