Europe Snacks, the market leader for own-label aperitif snacks in France, has appointed Christophe Fenart to the post of president and CEO.

Fenart took the helm last month, succeeding Jean-Pierre Caillavet who has retired. The appointment was made public today (7 March).

Fenart was previously managing director of LDC-owned convenience food firm Marie Frais, a post he quit in January.

Europe Snacks operates three production plants and supplies more than 65 supermarket groups in Europe.
