The two owners of French yoghurt maker Yoplait have reportedly struck a deal on the future of the business.

According to a report today in French daily La Tribune, dairy co-op Sodiaal has agreed to the plans of private-equity partner PAI Partners has to offload its stake in Yoplait.

Both sides own 50% of Yoplait but PAI Partners is reported to be ready to quit the venture. Sodiaal wants to keep a stake in Yoplait and, according to La Tribune, could sell part of its shareholding to a new partner and become a minority investor.

PAI Partners and Sodiaal did not return requests for comment.
