Former PepsiCo executive Charles Bouaziz is to join French retail chain Monoprix as CEO.

Bouaziz, who spent 17 years at PepsiCo, will join the Casino banner at the end of the month.

The 47-year-old joined PepsiCo in 1992 as marketing director for the French and Belgian markets. In the last year, Bouaziz has held the role of president of PepsiCo’s Western European division.

Prior to his time at PepsiCo, Bouaziz spent five years at Procter & Gamble.
