French poultry processor LDC has reported a 5% increase in annual sales thanks to growth in its domestic and international markets.
LDC booked turnover of EUR2.93bn (US$3.84bn) for the year to the end of February, up 5.4% on the year before.
Poultry sales account for over 75% of LDC’s revenue. The company said poultry sales were up 6.1% in France to EUR2.01bn. Sales outside France were up 10.6% at EUR200.8m. Poland generates over four-fifths of LDC’s international sales.
LDC has a deli business that makes up the remainder of its turnover. Sales were up 1.4% at EUR501.5m.
The group’s full-year results will be published after the market closes on 22 May.
