French poultry processor Duc has reported a 13% jump in half-year sales as it secured price increases to help offset commodity costs and sold more “value-added” products.
Duc yesterday (11 August) posted a 13.4% increase in sales to EUR90.1m (US$128.3m) for the six months to the end of June.

The company’s sales accelerated in the second quarter, with sales up 14.2%.
Duc pointed to higher sales prices to offset raw-material costs and its strategy to improve its product mix. The company said it saw a “significant” increase in volumes of “certified” products in the second quarter.
The firm said its full half-year results will be published on 13 September.
