Unilever has appointed Bruno Witvoët as the new president and chief executive of its French unit.
He succeeds Claudio Colzani who is taking up new responsibilities within the group.
Witvoët, 47, was previously chief executive of Unilever’s business in the Nordic countries.
He has spent all of his professional career at the Anglo-Dutch consumer goods giant, beginning with a post in sales and marketing at Astra-Calvé in 1984.
