In a statement, the company said that EBITDA for the third quarter reached EUR0.93m, up from a loss of EUR0.01 in the same period last year. For the first nine-months, EBITDA reached EUR1.79m, compared to EUR0.52m last year.

Sales in the third quarter reached EUR8.03m compared to EUR5.88m in 2006, whilst nine-month sales reached EUR19.85m up from EUR15.79m.

The company said that following the release of its third quarter figures it was confident of meeting its full year targets.

However, on the cost side, the company warned that the confectionery industry was confronted with continuous price increases in important raw materials. That, coupled with the current energy market, limits the predictability of the company’s costs.
