German supermarket group REWE is reportedly considering flotation for financial expansion into its core retailing business, reported Financial Times Deutschland.
‘If there is need to do so, one should use all possible financing instruments,’ company chief executive Achim Eigner reportedly said in an interview with the newspaper.
REWE was unavailable for comment when contacted by just-food today (24 May).
