German retail giant Rewe has denied reports that it is looking to launch its Penny format in Slovakia.

According to reports today (24 September), the firm is considering rolling out the discount format in the country. However, a spokesperson for Rewe told just-food: “There are no plans to enter the Slovakian market with Penny.”
