“The area for expansion will be North Rhine Westfalia (Cologne, Bonn, Duesseldorf, Essen, etcetera), Rhine-Main-Area (Frankfurt, Wiesbaden, Mainz etcetera) and Hamburg,” the spokesperson revealed.
Rewe has three Temma stores in Germany – two in Cologne and one in Dusseldorf. It is seeking sites with selling space of 450-850 square metres to open Temma stores. Details of Rewe’s planned capital expenditure and the number of stores targeted were not revealed.
