Good Health Naturally is launching Really Healthy Pasta, a range of single ingredient legume pastas in the UK.

The range is made from legumes and is being pitched as an alternative to wheat pasta. The line is chemical free, hypoallergenic, free from grains, low GI, certified organic, vegan, kosher and non-GMO. A typical serving equals a full serving of vegetables, contains 50% of iron RDA, 22g of protein and 3 ounces of fibre.

“With the growing demand from consumers of all ages for healthier food swaps and clean eating, we are excited about our UK market launch and because they contain just one ingredient. We believe our pastas are a unique offering in the UK marketplace today,” marketing director Oliver Briggs said.

The range includes: organic black bean, organic red lentil, organic mung bean, organic buckwheat and organic chickpea varieties, each available as penne and fusilli. Each 250g box contains 2-3 servings and comes at an RSP of GBP2.99.

The pastas are also available in wholesale volumes aimed at foodservice channels, the company revealed.
