Following a successful trading debut on the Athens Stock Exchange, Greek giant Atlantic Supermarkets announced plans for a takeover of two sector enterprises.
In terms of annual turnover, Atlantic is the fifteenth largest company in Greece, grossing €245m during 2000, with pre-tax profit growth to €5.9m.
The company has earmarked funds of €13.8m to carry forward its expansion policy.
