Domestic snack food and croissant maker Chipita International is expecting to post a consolidated full-year turnover of 63bn drachmas (US$170m) in 2001. This compares favourably with last year’s figure of 53bn drachmas.
The company also expects a 30% increase in pre-tax profits for the full year.
Chipita is due soon to establish production units in Serbia, Spain, Slovakia and Hungary, and it will use the units as a foothold for entering the markets in these countries.
