Nestlé Hellas, the Greek unit of Nestlé, has made a mandatory public offer to holders of common bearer shares in Delta Ice Cream, which are traded on the Athens Stock Exchange.

On 19 December 2005, Nestlé announced that it had reached an agreement with Delta Holdings to acquire a majority stake in Delta Ice Cream. On 31 May, the world’s largest food company acquired 96.53% of Delta Ice Cream’s shares.
The offer is for all shares not held by Nestlé – namely 731,065 shares, or 3.47% of the company. Nestlé has offered EUR6.63 (US$8.32) per share.
NGB International, UK financial services provider, has been appointed to act as advisor by Nestlé.
