Royal Greenland, the largest seafood producer in Greenland, has fired three former Danish ministers from its board. Board chairman Uffe Elleman-Jensen, the former Danish Foreign Minister, and board members Knud Heinesen and Nils Wilhjelm, former Danish ministers, were given their marching orders this week.

Royal Greenland explained to the Borsen newspaper that the decision was taken by the Greenland home rule government, which argued that the Danes on the company’s board of directors should be replaced with Greenlanders.
