Mexican dairy processor Grupo Lala has appointed Gabriel Fernandez as its new CFO.

Fernandez will replace Antonio Zamora, who will leave Lala in January to “pursue another professional opportunity”, the company said today (12 November).

Lala said Fernandez had spent ten years at Mars Inc, most recently as vice president of finance of the company’s chocolate arm in North America. In his decade at Mars, he held a similar role in Europe and had other financial positions in Mexico and Latin America. His career also includes seven years at Procter & Gamble.
